Education in Uganda

With Heartfelt Hope, education in Uganda is currently focused on partnering with several small rural schools and running community based workshops and seminars.

We are partnering with several nursery schools and primary schools to raise literacy and numeracy in the area. Heartfelt Hope is working side by side with the local communities and has helped several villages move ahead by providing support to begin building a community hall so children can be educated indoors, rather than simply meeting under a tree.

Aside from our schools, we also run community education programmes and workshops on health & hygiene, relationships, leadership or small business practices. These are held in various places and are often presented in schools, churches, parks, under trees, in someone’s home, in a clinic or by a river. We seek to teach communities in ways which are captivating and relevant by also using drama, simple object lessons, puppets, art and music.
